Keaton rose to fame again in 1950, this time independently, which led to many of his successes, including regaining full rights to his older films. Surprisingly, Keaton never went to school but learned to use a variety of expressions as he went through life. After falling down a flight of stairs at 18 months old, Joseph Frank earned the nickname Buster from a magician. His astrological sign was Libra, and he spent most of his childhood summers in Muskegon, Michigan, a popular summer destination for vaudevillian performers.
